School Resource Officer (SRO)
The Barrington Police Department has assigned Officer Joel Saccoccio as the full-time School Resource Officer (SRO) to the Barrington School Department. Officer Joel's primary goal is to provide a safe and positive environment for all students, staff, and parents in the District. He works with students, staff, and families to build trust in our community.
Officer Saccoccio is primarily assigned to Barrington High School, where his office is located, but he also visits Barrington Middle School, Hamden Meadows School, Primrose Hill School, Sowams School, and Nayatt School for an extended period of time each day.
