More Than Just a Fun Day
If you were at the Tough Tiger last Saturday you already know how it felt. If you weren’t able to attend, all you need to do is look at the pictures in the Barrington Times to get a sense of what it was all about. It is said that pictures say a thousand words, but I will share just one - COMMUNITY. There are far too many individuals to recognize by name that helped with planning, organizing, funding, preparing, and cleaning up, and to them, I say THANK YOU. What struck me most as I walked (not ran) the course, were the number of neighbors, high school volunteers, police officers, teachers, and sponsors all cheering on and supporting our students. Every day, I am incredibly proud of the hard work and accomplishments of the Hampden Meadows staff and students. Last Saturday reminded me how fortunate I am to call this place home.
