Dear Friends of Music at Nayatt School:
On behalf of Governor Gina M. Raimondo I am delighted to inform you that the Nayatt School Third Grade Chorus from Nayatt School, under the leadership of Janita Ducharme, will be performing this holiday season at the Rhode Island State House. I hope you will take a few moments during a busy holiday season to join these young people on Friday, December 13 at 9:30am for a short concert of holiday favorites.
These holiday concerts, organized by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, are an excellent opportunity for your students to share their musical abilities and demonstrate the wealth of artistic talent we have here in the Ocean State. I hope you will attend and support their efforts and encourage others to take a moment out of their day to cheer these talented students. Feel free to send a copy of this email home to parents and share it with others in your district.
You might also consider participating in a tour of our beautiful State House during your visit. while families are welcome to schedule in advance, we also welcome walk-in visitors. You can join any of the hourly tours by coming to the State Library a few minutes before the hour.
